Creating a Table Football Hub in Newcastle
Newcastle has a large social and student population and attracts people from across Tyneside and the wider North East, making it a natural location for a strong table football community.
We want to hear from players across the city, including areas such as Jesmond, Heaton, Ouseburn, Gosforth and elsewhere around Newcastle.
Our aim is to start by bringing those players together, then work towards finding a suitable venue for regular sessions and establishing a Newcastle table football club.
With enough local interest, the club could develop into much more than somewhere for an occasional game. Regular club nights, coaching, leagues and tournaments could all become part of the local scene.
Beginners would be just as welcome as experienced competitive players.

The British Foosball Association (BFA) is the national governing body for table football in the UK.
We support players, clubs and competitions around the country while working to make it easier for people to discover table football and find somewhere to play.
An active Newcastle community could also provide an important base for developing the sport more widely across the North East.
By connecting local players now, we hope to create the foundations for a club that welcomes newcomers, gives established players somewhere to practise and becomes part of the wider UK table football scene.
