Building a Table Football Community in Colchester
Colchester has a varied population spread across the city, including areas such as Lexden, Greenstead, Highwoods, Mile End and Stanway.
It also has a large student community, creating plenty of potential for people who enjoy table football but may not yet know where to find regular opponents.
Our aim is to bring those players together first.
Once a local network begins to form, we can work towards arranging regular playing sessions at a suitable venue and ultimately establish a Colchester table football club.
The club could begin with relaxed social sessions and develop into coaching, leagues and tournaments as more people become involved.
Find Foosball Players in Colchester
You might already play table football at university, at work, in a pub or with friends, but finding people who want to play regularly can be much harder.
If you are searching for foosball players in Colchester, register your interest and we can help make those connections.
Maybe you want someone to practise with, some new opponents, a doubles partner or simply a few more opportunities to play.
You do not need to already be part of a team or know anyone else who plays. Register individually and become part of the local network as it grows.
Growing Table Football in Essex
Colchester has the potential to become an important location for table football in Essex.
A successful local club could give people from the city and surrounding communities somewhere reliable to meet and play, while also creating more opportunities for table football events in the wider area.
As more players become involved, we would like to see Colchester develop into a regular meeting point for both social and competitive table football.
The first step is simply finding the people who want to play.
Who Are the British Foosball Association?
The British Foosball Association (BFA) is the national governing body for table football in the UK.
We support players, clubs and competitions around the country while also helping new table football communities get started.
An important part of growing the sport is making it easier for people who live near each other to find one another.
By connecting players across Colchester, we hope to create the foundations for a welcoming local club where beginners and experienced players can enjoy the game together.
