A UK Championship First: Beginner, Amateur and Semi Pro Titles Added for 2026
For the first time in UK Championship history, players will compete for Beginner, Amateur and Semi Pro titles, a major addition that gives more players the opportunity to become a UK Champion.
The new events will make their debut on 5–6 December 2026 at The Vault, King’s College London. They will run alongside the existing men’s, women’s, mixed, senior and junior events.
By the end of the weekend, we will have crowned the UK’s first-ever Beginner, Amateur and Semi Pro champions.
It’s a significant moment for British table football. These additions give players at different stages of their development a national title to aim for, with the chance to compete against others at their level on the UK’s biggest domestic stage. Whether you’re entering your first national championship or have been developing your game at club nights and tournaments, there is now even more to play for.
With two days of competition and the British table football community coming together in London, this year’s Championship promises to be a memorable one, especially for the players who become the first names on these new honours lists.
Could you be one of the first?
