Building a Table Football Community in Cheltenham
Cheltenham has a strong social scene and well-established communities across areas such as Montpellier, Pittville, Leckhampton, Charlton Kings, Prestbury and elsewhere around the town.
We want to find the people in those areas who already enjoy table football and bring them together.
Our first aim is to build a local player network. Once that begins to grow, we can start looking at suitable venues for regular sessions and work towards establishing a Cheltenham table football club.
The club could begin with informal social games and develop into regular club nights, coaching, leagues and tournaments as more people get involved.
Find Foosball Players in Cheltenham
You may already play table football at work, in a pub, at home or with friends, but finding people who want to play regularly is not always easy.
If you are searching for foosball players in Cheltenham, register with us and we can help make those connections.
You might be looking for casual games, stronger opponents, a practice partner or somebody to team up with for doubles.
There is no need to already know another player or be part of an existing team. Individual registrations are very welcome.
Table Football in Cheltenham and Gloucestershire
Cheltenham is well placed to bring together players from the town itself and surrounding parts of Gloucestershire.
A regular local club could give players somewhere reliable to meet without needing to travel further afield every time they want a competitive or social game.
It would also complement the player network we are building in nearby Gloucester, helping create a stronger table football scene across the county.
Over time, that could lead to more local matches, events and competitions between communities across Gloucestershire.
Who Are the British Foosball Association?
The British Foosball Association (BFA) is the national governing body for table football in the UK.
We support players, clubs and competitions around the country while also helping new local communities get started.
An important part of growing the sport is making it easier for people who live near each other to find one another and play more regularly.
By connecting players across Cheltenham, we hope to create the foundations for a welcoming and sustainable local club.
