Bringing Derby’s Table Football Players Together
Derby’s central location makes it a great place to build a new table football community.
We want to hear from players across the city, including areas such as Allestree, Littleover, Mickleover, Normanton, Chaddesden, Spondon and further afield.
The first step is finding the people who already want to play.
Once that community begins to form, our aim is to arrange regular sessions at a suitable venue and ultimately establish a Derby table football club.
The club should be somewhere people can enjoy relaxed games, meet new opponents and improve naturally through playing. As numbers grow, there could also be coaching, leagues, tournaments and other organised events.
Looking for Foosball Players in Derby?
You might already have access to a table but struggle to find enough people who want to play regularly.
Perhaps you used to play and would like to start again, or you have searched for foosball in Derby and found very little information about where to go.
That is exactly why we are building a local player network.
Register with us and we can help connect you with other interested players around Derby. You might find a practice partner, new opponents or people interested in getting together for regular social games.
There is no need to already have a team or doubles partner.
Table Football in the East Midlands
Derby is well positioned between several major towns and cities, giving a future club the potential to become part of a growing East Midlands table football scene.
A successful Derby club could provide a regular home for local players while creating more opportunities to meet and compete with players from elsewhere in the region.
Most importantly, it would give people in Derby somewhere reliable to simply turn up and play.
Who Are the British Foosball Association?
The British Foosball Association (BFA) is the national governing body for table football in the UK.
We support players, clubs and competitions around the country and work to make it easier for people to discover the sport and find somewhere local to play.
Helping new communities form is an important part of growing table football.
By connecting Derby players now, we hope to create the foundations for a welcoming and sustainable local club.
