Yorkshire Foos Builds Momentum with York Tournament and Regular Club Nights

Table football is growing in Yorkshire, with a successful first public tournament in York, regular sessions in two towns and a new community connecting players across the region.

Yorkshire Foos held its first public tournament in York on Saturday 24 October at The Crescent, bringing together 16 players, including several new faces. The event offered a chance to meet fellow players, enjoy competitive matches and introduce more people to the local table football scene.

Regular games in York and Harrogate

Following the tournament, a regular Monday night foosball session has been established at The Crescent in York. Singles and Doubles ladders have also been introduced, giving players an ongoing competition to take part in and another reason to return to the table.

Meanwhile, a group of players is now meeting every Wednesday at Montey’s Bar in Harrogate, creating another opportunity to play regularly in the region.

Both developments are encouraging steps for table football in Yorkshire, helping players find games closer to home and build friendships through the sport.

Connecting players across Yorkshire

Alongside the local sessions, Yorkshire Foos is building a WhatsApp Community to connect players across the region. The community will help members share news, organise events and welcome newcomers into the game.

Experienced players and complete beginners are welcome, with opportunities to meet others, learn and enjoy the game together.

Congratulations to everyone involved in getting these sessions and the tournament off the ground. It is great to see more opportunities to play table football in Yorkshire, and we look forward to seeing the community continue to grow.
