Record Family Turnout at Newark Foosball Club
Newark Foosball Club welcomed a record number of families to its recent Sunday event at The Castle & Falcon, bringing parents and children together for a day of table football, laughter and friendly competition.
Alongside the matches and trophies, it was the feedback from parents that made the occasion particularly special for the club. Families spoke about how much they had enjoyed spending time together, sharing an activity and learning alongside their sons and daughters.
The children were equally enthusiastic, making new friends and getting involved throughout the day. Some were already asking when they could return before the event had even finished.
Bringing families together through table football
Newark’s event is a great example of the role local clubs can play in bringing people together. Around a table, parents and children can become teammates, share a challenge and enjoy a little friendly rivalry.
The club highlighted opportunities for young players to develop teamwork, focus and confidence, while enjoying time away from screens. For families trying table football for the first time, the day offered a welcoming introduction to the game and the community around it.
Get involved
Under-18s can take part free when attending with a ticket-holding parent or guardian, helping more families experience the club’s events together.
Congratulations to Newark Foosball Club on a fantastic turnout and on its work to introduce more young people and families to table football.
