UK Masters IV: A Fantastic Weekend of Table Football in London
UK Masters IV brought 106 players from across the UK and Europe to Big Penny Social in London for three days of competition, friendship and fantastic table football.
With 17 competitions, 16 Tornado tables and an impressive 782 matches played, it was a busy weekend with plenty to celebrate. From international champions to players entering their first major tournament, everyone helped create an atmosphere that made this event special.
Great Competition, Great Community
There was no shortage of excitement at the tables, with hard-fought knockout matches and crowds gathering to follow the action around the finals table.
But just as much was happening away from the competition. Familiar faces caught up, new friendships formed, and players supported each other through the highs and lows of a demanding weekend.
It was particularly good to see juniors testing themselves on a major stage and newcomers competing alongside experienced players. That mix of high-level competition and a welcoming community is a big part of what makes these events so enjoyable.
Standout Performances
Vijay Patturaja finished the weekend with three titles, winning Semi-Pro Singles, Semi-Pro Doubles with Santhosh Kumar Narayan, and the 2 Ball Monster DYP alongside Katalin Felso.
Stephen Lyall claimed both Open Doubles with Uzzy Ahmad and Open Mixed with Ilnura Mukhamedzhanova. Austria’s Bernhard Kraus won Open Singles and partnered Kevin Fitzgerald to victory in the Friday Monster DYP.
There were also two titles each for Katalin Felso, Rhys Roberts and Stanley Darragh. Alongside her DYP victory, Katalin won Women’s Doubles with Anna Lamperska-Duda. Rhys took both Over 50 titles, partnering Tony Miller in doubles, while Stanley won Under 19 Singles and teamed up with Filip Cellary to win Under 19 Doubles.
Congratulations to all our champions, and well done to everyone who competed throughout the weekend.
